L&L Products was founded in 1958 by Robert “Bob” Ligon and Eugene “Gene” Lane.
Initial product offerings were mastic and PVC sealing washers for the automotive industries. L&L began blending material formulas in its own mixers and developed an expanding sealant used in many commercial applications. During the 1970’s, L&L Products developed «heat-activated » sealing products that cured and expanded in the automotive e-coating process. This technology evolved into numerous expandable formulas used to seal body cavities from water, dust and noise. Continuous growth The 90’s brought new challenges and opportunities for L&L Products as our automotive customers were expanding across the globe. In 1996, L&L Products expanded into Europe with the creation of CORE Products in France.
Over the next few years, the Group expanded rapidly in all regions of the world with 1100 highly motivated employees to support our customer’s growth all around the world.
In 2007, CORE Products was renamed L&L Products Europe.
With the worldwide use of the L&L Products name, we underline our commitment to our customers to be as global as they are.
